Community
Faith in action, serving our neighbours
Our Community Work
At Grays United Reformed Church, we believe that faith should be lived out in service to others. We're actively involved in supporting our local community in Grays and the wider Thurrock area.
Coffee Mornings
Our weekly coffee mornings are a lifeline for many, providing a warm, welcoming space for people to meet, chat, and combat loneliness.
Community Support
We support local food banks and community initiatives, working alongside other organisations to help those in need in our area.
Family Activities
We run family-friendly events and all-age worship services, creating a nurturing environment for children and young families.
Fellowship Groups
Small groups meet regularly for Bible study, prayer, and mutual support — deepening friendships and growing together in faith.
Pastoral Care
Our pastoral team provides support and visits to those who are unwell, bereaved, or going through difficult times.
Wider Church Partnerships
We work with Churches Together in Grays and other URC congregations to serve our community and share resources.
Everyone Has Something to Offer
Whether you can give your time, your skills, or simply your presence — there's a place for you in our community. We'd love you to be part of what we do.
